RealCaliforniaJobs.com is a search engine that collects information about jobs from various public agency websites in the State of California.

How do I apply for a job?

When you search for jobs on this website you can click the View link next to the job titles listed on the search results to view more detailed information about the job on the agency website from which the job information was gathered. Some of the agencies allow you to apply on line, whereas others require you to fill out a hard-copy application. RealCaliforniaJobs.com has no control over the application process of the various agencies. If you wish to apply for a job then you would need to carefully read the job description and follow the application instructions on the respective agencies' website.

Why are my agencies' jobs here?

The purpose of this website is to make it easier for job seekers to find government jobs in California. RealCaliforniaJobs.com has automated way of collecting basic job listing information (title, salary, deadline etc.) from public sector agencies job pages (see Robot Page). We then allow job seekers to search for jobs throughout California from this website. If a job seeker is interested in applying for a job then they are directed to the appropriate job listing on your agencies' job website. If you wish to have your agencies' jobs removed from our website please Contact Us and we will remove them and discontinue the collection of job information from your website.

How do I search for a job?

You can search for a job in four different ways on RealCaliforniaJobs.com. (1) Type a keyword or part of the name of an agency, city or county in the search box on the home page and then click the Search button. (2) Click the Advanced Search link from the home page to perform a more specific search. (3) Click the Jobs by Agency link from the home page to see a list of agencies with jobs posted on this website. Then click on the name of the agency to view its current job openings. (4) Click on a keyword in the Tags section on the home page or on the Popular Job Tags page to view jobs that have the respective keyword in the title.

Why don't my agencies' jobs show up in the search?

We only index jobs from California public sector agencies. We are adding agencies on an ongoing basis. If you are a such an agency you may Contact Us to have your jobs added to our index. There is no fee for having your jobs on our site.

Why are there Google Ads on your site?

The Google Ads provide the funding that pay for hosting this website.
